About this search
- What it searches. The text of the DOHA decisions in the DCSA Library's approved release, as extracted from DOHA's PDFs by computer. Extraction can garble words; results that may be affected say so. The official decision on DOHA's site is the record: read it there.
- How results are ordered. By relevance: how often and how prominently your words appear. Relevance is computed within blocks of years, so the order across years is close, not exact. The page shown is where the first word you searched first appears.
- Results and dates. The result (granted, denied, remanded) comes from DOHA's file name for the decision; a revocation shows as denied. The Atlas shows the full case history and the Appeal Board's ruling.
- What it is not. A word search, not legal research or advice. Decisions that share words can turn on very different facts, and nothing here predicts how a case will be decided.
- Privacy. Searches are not logged or stored by FSOtools. Like any web address, a search appears in your browser's history, and links to DOHA do not pass your search on.
