Find the right DCSA support route

Separate application support, investigator verification, and eligibility questions before reaching out.

October 2026 updates Clearance guide

Start with the role and the question

Applicant: eApp or application support

Use the DCSA NBIS/eApp page’s applicant-support listing for the current phone and mailbox. For a live case, also follow the instructions from your sponsoring security office.

The October briefing and the public page list different applicant numbers. This guide links to the official contact listing rather than choosing between conflicting numbers.

SMO/FSO: eligibility or adjudication

The October ISE lists Trust Decision (Adjudications) at 667-424-3850 and the adjudications call-center mailbox. This route is for SMOs and FSOs only; no subject callers. Applicants should work through their security office.

Industry case questions

The Industry Account Managers can help with industry personnel-vetting questions: industry agency liaison. Your assigned ISR remains the primary point of contact for facility-specific matters.

DOHA case status

The October ISE lists 866-231-3153 and DOHA status inquiries. Follow the instructions in your actual notice for submissions and deadlines.

Use the designated official system for case material. This website does not accept questionnaires, medical records, financial records, or case submissions.

Who makes the decision?

DCSA Trust Decision (Adjudications) determines eligibility for the DoD and NISP populations described in the briefing, excluding the intelligence-agency populations outside that scope. Investigators collect and resolve information; the FSO supports the authorized process; the Government adjudicator makes the eligibility determination. A separate access authority confirms the conditions for actual access.
