How to use these pages

Follow the decision pathClassified eligibility first; then Government/Service Member or cleared Industry. Without classified eligibility, check whether the position is Public Trust and follow the sponsoring agency’s current instructions.

Separate personal and organization reportsAn individual disclosure and a contractor’s independent report to the CSA can have different triggers. A report required by §117.8 is not automatically an adverse finding.

Follow local instructionsAgency, contract, customer, command and program procedures may set recipients, approved systems, timelines or additional duties.
